About me

Shaimaa Kraba is a first-generation Canadian of Algerian descent, driven by a deep belief in storytelling as a force for change. She sees stories as the way people remember, connect, and challenge the narratives that shape how we understand the world and each other.

She is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and English, with minors in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, in her final year of study. Her academic work reflects her growing focus on narrative framing, particularly how language, storytelling, and positioning influence perception in both cultural and marketing contexts. She actively explores this through case study analysis featured in her blog.

As a single mother, Shaimaa is committed to creating spaces where truth can be spoken openly. Her work centers mothers, single mothers of color, and Muslim women, offering them language, visibility, and agency in a world that often speaks over them. She is intentional about reshaping how these experiences are seen, understood, and valued.

With over a decade of experience in sales, customer service, and business development, she brings a strategic lens to her creative work. She understands how stories sell, how they influence behavior, and how they can be used ethically to shift perspectives.

At the core of everything she does is a simple belief: her pen and her voice are tools for impact. Through writing, analysis, and storytelling, she aims to challenge assumptions, foster understanding, and create space for narratives that deserve to be heard.
